Yes you can freeze ripe bananas. Peel the ripe bananas and freeze them whole or mashed. Thaw before using.

How do I keep banana bread moist?

The key ingredients for moist banana bread are ripe bananas and sour cream! Be sure to avoid overbaking too.

How do I know when banana bread is done baking?

Insert a toothpick into the center of the loaf, it should come out with only a few moist crumbs. If it’s wet batter, bake a few minutes longer and check the bread again.

Banana bread should be stored in an airtight container (like a ziploc bag, or wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or foil). Most banana bread will stay fresh for up to a week if stored properly.
