Slice House by Tony Gemignani, the highly successful fast-casual pizza franchise by world renowned pizza master Tony Gemignani, is proud to announce the July 2026 opening of its newest Southern California location in Ventura. Located at 1780 Victoria Avenue, Unit E, the pizzeria will expand the availability of Gemignani’s award-winning pizza in Ventura County, offering a convenient and community-driven dining destination to local residents and visitors alike. The new restaurant is currently hiring across all positions and is expected to bring 20 full-time and part-time jobs to the local community.
“It’s an honor to continue expanding our Southern California footprint with our Slice House location opening in Ventura,” said Founder Tony Gemignani. “Our continued partnership with Vinny Margott has played a huge rule in growing the brand across Ventura County, and his deep connection to the community makes this opening especially meaningful. We look forward to sharing our signature pizza styles and craft with new guests this summer.”
Franchised and operated by Vinny Margott, a longtime Slice House partner and Ventura native with multiple locations across Ventura County, Slice House Ventura will offer an expansive menu of Gemignani’s acclaimed New York, Sicilian, Grandma, and Detroit-style pizzas, available by the slice or whole pizza. The menu will also include fresh pastas, wings, salads, with options for gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian diners. The drink menu will feature craft beers and premium wines, in addition to non-alcoholic sodas and juices. The new pizza spot will have indoor seating for 35 people as well as a communal outdoor patio, and will be available for takeout, online ordering, and delivery. It will be open seven days a week – from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
“Opening our seventh Slice House restaurant is something we are very proud of, but to be opening a location in our hometown of Ventura makes this that much more special,” said Margott. “As our third location in Ventura County following Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley, we know firsthand how strongly the brand resonates with the community, and we can’t wait share the world-class pizza with even more guests throughout the area. From the start, our goal has been to create a welcoming neighborhood destination where guests can enjoy great pizza made with quality ingredients and craftsmanship, and we’re excited to keep growing with the community.”
Slice House Ventura will open at 1780 Victoria Avenue in the Montalvo Square Shopping Center, surrounded by popular dining, retail, and lifestyle destinations, including Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies, Jimmy John’s, CAVA, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Ralph’s, Trader Joe’s, Walmart and more. Conveniently situated near residential neighborhoods, schools, medical offices, key government offices including Ventura County Government Center, and directly off Highway 101, the restaurant is poised to become a go-to dining destination for residents throughout Ventura and the surrounding coastal communities.
